Cherokee County's citizens take pride in the County's operation of the field. Some of the aviation-related activities that occur at the airport on a regular basis include flight training and education, corporate use, agriculture operations, and recreational flying. Additionally, the airport provides several community-based services and programs to enhance the health, safety, welfare, and quality of life of area citizens. Such activities include fire support and emergency medical evacuation.
